Flexform has just one production site, in Meda, in the heart of the Brianza furniture district. Here, design and manufacturing exist side by side, from the first sketches to the finished product. The company was founded and grew within this manufacturing community and continues to draw on its skills, relationships and wealth of production expertise. Today, the area is home to more furniture companies than any other province in Italy.

It is an ecosystem where knowledge is shared naturally. Artisan craftspeople, manufacturers, suppliers and designers speak the same language and have worked together for decades. These relationships endure because they have never stopped evolving. The entire supply chain is concentrated within a radius of just a few kilometers: cabinetmakers, upholsterers, foundries and specialist finishing workshops. Proximity makes it easier to oversee quality, encourages direct exchange and facilitates the passage of skills and expertise from one person to another. Each step in the process benefits from the presence of the others.

Thus, for Flexform, Made in Italy is much more than an indication of origin; it describes a network of people, professions and knowledge that continues to work together – a geography defined by design and quality before it is defined by a map.
